MUNDOS CRUZADOS_ Crossed Worlds proposes a journey through the work of seven Argentine women artists. With a point in common, the departure to meet Korea as an inspiration for creation. Countries that are in the antipodes of the planet are related to generate creation. The task of the artists becomes a kind of cultural alchemy, they interpret a distant world from local perception and everyday tools. A free focus on a country that is recognized in a new place in the network of nations. The question about the other, the similar, the different, the achievable and the intelligible, challenge the artists and the distant lands where they set their gaze. The dance of colors, techniques and styles of Crossed Worlds suggests that the possibilities of interpretation are countless and simultaneously. Is it the synchronic turn of two countries that sometimes seem diachronic? As cultural cosmogony, including distant ones, that are debated with the times of others and their own. The presentation of works from the personal collection of each artist together with those they have created in reference to Korea transforms the journey into a multidimensional space of sensations embodied in canvases. From the geometric to the figurative, from the plastic disorder to the rigor of the lines, from the dimensional plane to excess of thickness, the personal visions of each artist involved contribute to the development of a form that traces a path between two worlds that for a moment converge in the work to escape in the imaginary.
